Ten Ton Studio @ Historic Brooklyn Navy Yard

Ten Ton Studio is on the 8th Floor, Suite 819, in Building 280. The gate closest to Building 280 is located at Cumberland Street and Flushing Ave. Your ONLY entrance to Building 280 is near the intersection of Fifth Street & Ordnance Ave. (Google “Fifth Street & Ordnance Avenue, Brooklyn”).

ONLY Passenger Elevator #60 and Freight Elevator #59 provide 8th Floor access.

There are four entry gates:

  1. Clymer Street @ Kent Avenue.
  2. Clinton Ave. @ Flushing Ave. (Only gate open 24/7)
  3. Cumberland Street @ Flushing Ave. (Closest to Building 280)
  4. Sands Street @ Navy Street.
  5. The BNY is accessible from the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (I-278). The closest subway stop (F Train) is the York Street Station, 116 Jay Street. It is a 15-minute walk to the Stands Street Gate. The BNY provides shuttle bus service: https://brooklynnavyyard.org/visit/directions-map
